In battle, Tenshinhan fights honorably and dislikes any kind of foul play. He (like Piccolo and Vegeta) is very stern and serious, displaying a lesser comical side compared to most of the other members of the Z Warriors. Despite the transition and making new friends, Tenshinhan is very reclusive and spends his time training to become a better fighter. He also demonstrated a sense of brutality by needlessly breaking Yamcha's leg after defeating him.ĭue to Muten Roshi and Goku's consolations, Tenshinhan's personality had changed drastically to the point that he had wished to atone for his sins. He highly respected Tao Pai Pai and wanted to be a famous assassin like him. Tenshinhan was originally a cold and ruthless (both as a warrior and a person), showing little care for others (with the exception of his cohorts), as he at one point contemplated killing Son Goku for being a potential threat to them.
He was voiced by the late Hirotaka Suzuoki in Dragon Ball and video games, Kōichi Yamadera in the Dragon Ball Z, Mitsuaki Madono in Dragon Ball Z video games 2008-2009 and Hikaru Midorikawa in Dragon Ball Z Kai in the Japanese version, and by Eddie Frierson in Harmony Gold dub, Matt Smith in Ocean Group dub, formerly Chris Cason in episodes 68-107, currently John Burgmeier in episode 108-291, Brendan Hunter in Blue Water dub, Doug Rand in Dragon Ball Z Movie 3, David Gasman in Dragon Ball Z Movie 9, Sharon Mann in Dragon Ball Z Special 2 in the AB Groupe dub, Ray Chase in the Bang Zoom! dub and Richard Jonson in the Creative Products Corporation dub in the English version. Tenshinhan is one of the strongest Earthlings on the show and becomes one of Goku's greatest allies. He defeated Goku in the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai and his best friend is Chiaotzu. Tenshinhan (known as Tien Shinhan in the Funimation dub) is a Dragon Ball Z hero and a Z Warrior. ~ Tenshinhan as he helps Gohan defeat Cell. And how did I repay him? I watched him die! I will not make the same mistake for his son! Without him, there's no way I would've gone this far. Surpassing Goku has always been my goal ever since I became a martial artist. ~ Tenshinhan before sacrificing himself in an attempt to kill Nappa. The Survivors can also use Dragon Change to turn into a powerful fighter for a brief time to fight the Raider.Chaozu, I won't let your sacrifice be in vain, I promise! This Saiyan goes down right now. Survivors do have skills and tools available to them too to either fight or elude the Raider. Another key of evolution is that at each stage the Raider can destroy an entire area of the map, which means any power key left in that area will not be recoverable. These skills split between active and passive ones. Each evolution adds new abilities and more power, making each evolution more dangerous than the last. Cell is shown as a larva at first and grows stronger as he absorbs the energy of NPCs and survivors.
Raiders are not at their peak from the start of the match but instead evolve throughout. If all Survivors are beaten then the Raider wins. Raiders can win by destroying the time machine or defeating all of the Survivors. Raiders can destroy the time machine which means it cannot be called again. At this point survivors can work together to get out or go it alone. Survivors can activate beacons to call up emergency time machines and pilot these to escape the Temporal Seam.
However, that is not the only way to escape. However, the Raider can destroy the Start-up System which means the Super Time Machine cannot be activated. There are seven keys to find and the more that are found the faster the system will boot up. However, before the system can be started power keys need to be found around the map and placed in specific locations.
Survivors first have to protect the Start-up System that is in the middle of the map.
Survivors need to activate the Super Time Machine but it is not a simple task. Namco Bandai recently posted a video that shows a match being played.
